If the big three say we will not supply you at those prices.Who is going to supply the quantity China needs?
These are games being played.
The big three are too big to be dictated to by China.China is too big a customer for the big three to not supply.
So bargaining will start.Cost of iron ore could afford to come down because of transport cost have come down if the big three are paying transport.If half the junior iron ore explorers go broke,labour cost could come down,equipment cost could come down.These items would help the big three keep costs down so give more room for negotiations.
If China pays transport they can afford to pay more for iron ore as fuel costs have come down.
