@LeftYahoo -Equillium's Itolizumab would seem to be another to add to your competitor list to be watched. I note with interest that the Indian trial had a control of 10 people only, 3 of whom died. Whilst a small sample size 3/10 is vastly different than 83% and begs the question about how severe the group they are treating is.
Also of note is the same issue that you mentioned in your competitor analysis in May that their therapy is only targeting T-Cells rather than Macropages, B- Cells and T-Cells as mentioned by Fred Grossman in the last investor call. Still if it works it is much cheaper, probably easier to produce at scale and might also be a serious competitor for GVHD that they are also targeting.
I seem to remember SI referencing that these immune-modulating antibody therapeutics were not working as well and had too many side effects but I can't find where.
Has anybody looked at Itolizumab in any detail to know if it is a serious threat? If it can seriously address GVHD (albeit it is a long way behind and a long way off being able to go to market) then it would undermine my investment thesis for MSB and as a long term holder and staunch believer in MSB that would be pretty sad.
