Really interesting GreenEnergy.

It seems there were two different entities working on silicon laced graphite anodes in 2018. As your posting indicates, there was a Novonix patent in 2018 and a "different one" at the University of Colorado, Boulder which was "further developed" at Silion. As an NVX investor, perhaps one of the following is true (about the Musk tweet):

1. Tesla bought Silion and is currently using their silicon-infused graphite tech and other IP. We know from various YT sources that Musk likely did buy the company. If this is the case, competitors may use the similar NVX patents to compete with Tesla, minus time for production implementation.
2. Tesla is already using the Novonix silicon-infused patent (and other IP) from 2018 as described by Dr. Burns webinar.
3. Tesla licensed the Novonix silicon-infused patent (and other IP) from 2018, and also bought Silion to lock up all patents related to silicon particles and graphite. This would be intriguing because Musk would be locking up BOTH the IP at Dalhouse and the Univ. of Colorado, Boulder. (nice play...)
4. Musk somehow figured out all-silicon anodes (not likely, not yet).
