The NSW Premier is not mincing words and "may" introduce a lockdown for Sydney similar to what's occurring in Melbourne and the Shire of Mitchell to Melbourne's north. (Don't misinterpret me - the Sydney situation officially has yet to change and at present NSW residents can travel freely within their own state).

The pilots' voluntary redundancy scheme means there's uncertainty over who will hang up their coats and at what individual cost to the airline.
