Dogman...very good question you bring up and you are right in that it has relevance, or more relevance for a thing called Chikungunya that we have firmly on our list of contenders in terms of indications we are pursuing. CHIK and RRV have both been on the back burner a little with PAR stating their focus really is on OA and MPS at the moment.

Ok so briefly, what the heck has CHIK got to do with a Voucher?

At a high level, a voucher from the FDA has a higher chance of being granted to Tropical diseases or Rare diseases and or Pediatric diseases that drug companies are thinking of pursuing. It gives the company the ability to a Proitory review...in other words it's a Booster in terms of speed and emphasis granted by the FDA. Estimates run at an average cut down period of 18 months to 6 months ¹...lucrative? You bet.

If granted, it comes through as a voucher and this actually can be auctioned off to other companies. I think an example is that say we get issued one...we could auction this off to a competing or any bio. pharm. company for that matter ... the price could be in the millions. The voucher as far as I know has no expiry date. It's an incentive for the company that has been granted it.
