It's misleading to describe the corporate media as "right" or "left". It's all corporate. All owned by billionaires like newscorp/Murdoch or WAPO bought by Bezos with pocket change.

All the MSM always promotes the interests of the capitalist elite, a numerically minute section of society.

All sections of the capitalist class supported US wars in the ME and so did the media.

All sections of the capitalist class supported the early return to work for their profit interests and so did the entire MSM which they own.
That warmongering Friedman of NYT coined the phrase "don't let the cure be worse than the disease" which is now the catchcry of the entire right.

Sometimes they disagree on tactics but they all agree that the profit interests of the richest 1% must override the interests of the vast majority.
