The phase 3 interim analysis results should be around the corner, below is my calculation:
1. It takes three or four months to recruit 300 patients. I will use worst case scenario (4 months or 12 weeks) in my calculation. So it would take no more than 6 weeks to recruit 90 patients (30%) which are required for interim analysis.
2. First patients dosed on 6 May. So they should have recruited 90 patients around 17 Jun (in 6 weeks).
3. Primary measure endpoint takes 30 days. So the 30-day results for the 90th patient should be available around 17 July which is this Friday. It may take extra few days to do the analysis. The timing is align with SI’s podcast on next Monday 20 July.
so my conclusion is that the interim results will be released next week.
