I tried to point this out recently, someone called my comments nonsense (how you know your friend has good credit score). Zip system is far from perfect and they are losing some customers with good credit score. They need to change to soft checks (zippay only) and drive customer numbers first.
Big retailers like big customer numbers and you can neg better terms with this.
