I see Israel's global activities as increasingly destabilising to the rest of the world. I didn't come to that conclusion overnight and nor is it down to some pathological dislike of a particular group of people.

I have highlighted my concerns of their unhealthy influence in America. You might not like me doing that, but I can point to hundreds of objective factual articles and books that support that point of view.

I have delved into their treatment of Palestinians because I think, amongst other things, it fully demonstrates how little regard they have the norms of international opinion as well as a defenceless group of people.

One of your refrains is to keep asking me why I don't comment on other countries. As much as that is my business, I will say the bad behaviour of other countries is much easier to comment on, and most western governments around the world have at least some passing acknowledgement to the dangers these countries possess. With Israel, on the other hand, there is almost no acknowledgement of their danger.

Any attempt to investigate or mention anything pertaining to Israel is meant with howls of personal accusations. On our current course, there will be a war with Iran soon. I think Trump is an incompetent halfwit who is possibly torn by where his presidency is going, but I feel certain there will be a serious conflict in that region involving Iran.

It is my contention that war with Iran is the goal of Israel, despite the danger that places the rest of the world in. You will disagree, but I'm not looking for agreement from you or your overly-senstive fellow posters. You're a useful sounding board who I think quite nicely reflects the intransigence of the nation you defend. The next few years will tell all, I see Israel becoming more of an enemy to the west as time passes, I don't want that to be the case, but nothing in their constant antagonism (be it their multiple lobby groups, politicians and journalists) of Western nations convinces me otherwise.
