I think Albo has many good points.
He is pleasant and not constantly whining about trifles.

He showed leadership to co-operate with the government on presenting
a front in the fight against the virus.

He has made several thoughtful points of advice on the end of job keeper, seeker
whatever.

This will give him ammo when the tish hits the fan
as it surely will when JK ends.

He is well placed for the battle.
Not a nasty sniping unpleasant windbag like Turnbull, Rudd Gillard and Shorty.

Of course he will have to watch his back.

I'm not in the business of backing political winners.
Polls have been so inaccurate - almost a woftam.
