    Ride sharing scooters.

There have been problems of course. They were too powerful. So people rode way beyond their skills etc.
Those problems are being addressed with technology.

However , you can see the benefit of last mile transport. From major transport hubs to a depot adjacent to an office complex e.g. Docklands Melbourne.

Bigger, wider footpaths or ' scooter paths '. The scooters really don't need to go very fast. Maybe 20kph max ? Even if you just ticked along at 10kph it'll do the job.

Travel from Flinders St Station in Melbourne to most parts of the city in a bit over 5 minutes. No waiting for trams etc.

No, oldies won't use them or people that have never ridden one before. But the younger generation has already grown up with scooters. It is almost ingrained for many of them.

One of the biggest hurdles in Australia will be the wearing of helmets. Don't want to mess up that hairdo . eek.png
