you cant forget that alot of these new investors are heavy users of FB , insta , etc and the algorithms keep sending them the stories that they like to read . That is "bullish news, bull market , next stocks to fly high , etc "

so I dont see these new investors leaving the market at all. they are getting all the positive feeds reinforcing how good the market is. They don't subscribe to the afr, listen to PBS , read the news on investing.com, etc

Zombie Investors , NOT retail investors. Greatest plague to hit the market and yet to be recognised.

These algorithms are a slow poison to the younger minds . I have first hand experience ( getting lectures from my 21 yo daughter ) about all sorts of nonsense .

Look into it , and you will be dismayed by what is happening.
