I posted this on the other thread in response to a request for thoughts on the Mobileye announcement:

to improve the driving experience.

Thus if AKIDA1000 performs to specification it will measure driver fatigue, monitor cabin air quality, remember driver settings and implement them for registered drivers by recognising the driver, respond to hand or other gestures for adjusting stereo settings warn if children or pets are in the vehicle and so forth and so on.

No matter how you try to spin the Mobileye story it does not compete in this area.

Two or three AKIDA1000 chips in every Ford vehicle produced to enhance the driving experience will do me.I posted this response on the other thread.”
