thanks for the reply & i take your point.
but, "pokies" is just one example of how the money can be wasted, my argument is that the money should be "drip fed" rather than "lump sum" because it reduces the risk of waste.
i'm not for a second saying we shouldn't help the needy, we should, but do it right.
