re: - watch out for the fall The real threat to Tantalum miners is going to be from the manufacturers of the new breed of sintered aluminium capacitors. When these take hold and they will Tantalum will be a poor second choice.
The new WiFi equipment is based on microwave technologies and does not rely on Tantalum but high frequency ceramic capacitors.
I honestly cannot see much of a future for GIP and its Tantalum / Feldspar (Solvol) project that is based in a Country smack bang in an unstable Middle East that can blow up in your face.
In my opinion GIP is a shocking choice of investment with too much associated risk.
