Yes this king of thing has been going on for quite some time and discussed here regularly.

I dont favour any takeover offer at this stage cause we will be offered peanuts.

This apparent intense capping below 40c of late could , unfortunately, be an attempt to keep the price low for a specific timeframe to base an average price point for an offer amount.

If so it will come soon based on the " average price formula" usually used for such situations.
