re: - watch out for the fall Goldbars, if you were truthful and not just trying to get the price down and / or bait people and take advantage of those who don't know any better (which is a pity because when you have wanted to do so, you have come up with some good stuff in times past and been helpful at times), you could have pointed out that:

(1) You have printed that partial article before. It is more than three years old (check Google). Since then the price of tantalum has risen more than gold and comments by the Chinese in particular of late suggest continued pressure to the upside.

(2) New, high quality uses for tantalum continue to be found. It's only the high price which is slowing its more widespread use, especially in medicine and space.

(3) GIP said a year ago that its scoping study did not take into account its niobium.

(4) GIP has written "... has the distinct potential to become the world's leading supplier of tantalum whilst enjoying a tantalum pentoxide ("Ta205") cost of production of less than US$5 per pound" ... which is a fraction of the current tantalum price and an even smaller fraction of SGW's costs for that matter.

(5) GIP has said that its feldspar could be worth more than its tantalum.

We are going over old ground - over and over and over. To make matters worse, almost all players who are detracting and pretending to have something to offer are hiding behind multiple nicks and / or playing around with old ones (eg. the poster who suddenly turned up, having only posted a few times years ago, now claiming to have read the court writ, but offering nothing further).

Most of us on HC who have a stake in this stock welcome both the pros and cons information, but little in the way of "quality" cons have been brought up unfortunately. Meanwhile, this stock has attracted a remarkable amount of garbage from disaffected souls - remarkable considering that as often as not in its modern history, its highly likely not to even have traded on any given day.

I put in far more effort trying to talk about GTP 2-3 years ago and left for a year when the attacks started getting personal (eg. Zwu). Before that low ebb is once again reached, I'm out of here for probably a couple of months. Hopefully others who know this company well will see fit to continue posting for the benefit of those who are genuinely interested in the subject and others will respect and help the process along with reasonable questions and contributions.

To all those who see fit to carry on with the muck raking, I would simply ask, "do you want this forum to survive"? We've already lost the official "search" facility and more is no doubt to follow if things don't pick up.
