Thank you for that. I can see the descending bottom line formed from the bottom points (green) and similarly the other upper descending line. Join the dots and lines are formed - that seems to be the easy bit since it kind of already happened.
But since target prices are predictive ie: yet to happen - how accurate are these charts to predicting both a target figure as well as a timeframe? If they are accurate then why or how do investment houses arrive at so many differing target prices since they have available to them the same past historical chart to derive a future target?
I don't mean to sound too sceptical, since learning something new to assist one's understanding of market movements can lead to bailing or buying more effectively. More research needed on my part.
