Interesting chart Tokyo, can't say I've done an overlay like this myself as it is somewhat too high level. That aside I think you need to be careful as to what determined the initial breakout, what factors were used to determine this? - I think over those periods there are numerous differentials as to what made Ag move, this time is very different to those other times mentioned. Also the overlay of 2003 to 2011 could be seen as similar, I'm not understanding why these were segregated given the period is continuous, GFC was ultimately the main factor in 2008 yet why has Ag been isolated either side of this event.

Anyway nice chart ... may Ag continue to go its merry way UP !!!
