Littlelist, I have read most of the story (I'd only seen the headline before).
The allegation is that 20 of 157 dairy cows at a Gippsland farm died from contaminated stockfeed, not '157' as I'd mentioned above. So less serious.
'The Weekly Times' has a long article where Federal and State authorities comment on regulation of quality in this feed. To my mind though that's caveat emptor.
Whether the civil case unearths other claimants is something I don't know, but from a quick read of the main points of the story it seems not, if I recall correctly.
