Carrying knives and the selling of knives to under-age children has been banned for a number of years now but every week there is at least two or three stabbings.
The fact is that simply banning anything isn't going to deter criminal or insane intent.
Hell, if you are going to take that attitude you may as well cars and grog, look at the damage they cause!
