BB...top post and I agree..its all mentally based.

The mind does like to be result orientated.

I wouldn't be surprised if CNP gets above your 32.5.

If they get an extension of 12-18 months..then personally I think it could go higher then 40 cents.

Why? Its a damn long time to do non firesale asset sales.

From mid next year...the credit crisis is likely to be a lot better..credit easier to get..thus people spending more...could see a strong revival of players taking on debt to buy CNP assets at much better prices then now.

I never thought CNP would get the extension..thought the banks would play hard ball then wind it up...but it looks like its all settled.

Hopefully the news comes before open this morning.
