HZB you are not wrong. Consumers have the right to choose at the end of the day as no one is pointing a knife at their throat saying you must buy this product at this price or else!

What you have highlighted is the same at Coles or Woolworths where you see pasta on sale but bolognese sauce on full price. Next week, bolognese on special but pasta on full price. You can also point to telco ripping off customers by bundling phone with plans, deliberately hiding the rip off within the 24 month plans making it seem cheap. Or banks delaying mortgage payments for customers and offering mortgage holidays but actually interest is compounding at high rates but the people don’t know it or they SHOULD know but choose to be ignorant. And what about all those food delivery services? Pick up takeaway costs $15 but the price on a delivery platform like Menulog or Uber Eats is $18 plus $5 delivery fee. It is like you say, a business has costs, employs many people and needs to make money somehow.
