I don't think that Intel is going to be competition to BRN, they seem to be behind and they themselves don't expect their chip to be on the market for some years. Their chip is more a research chip.
Further they are not going to sell it in IP blockes, so they'll at least lose the mobile market.
They are also way more expensive.
I can't see the competition.
