VCR joins the hundred other biotech coy's (and hundreds from other sectors) who held out for better terms and then got rolled in the current debacle.

It is time to put away the barbs and concentrate on survival. "Fools" who want a wholesale change in management and board at this time are kidding themselves - such an action right now would probably signal the end of the coy and that would not be to anyone's advantage.

The board must acknowledge these difficult times and act to curtail expenses. It must concentrate on getting some more funding and completing its FDA efforts, period.

It is doable, it can succeed, but it must act now.

At to the "Australian" article, well its journalism at its best - deliver the doom and gloom, blame all and sundry and otherwise behave like you know everything - with perfect hindsight. It sell papers, but does little else and of course, only make the situation for the coy targeted even worse.

PS: Ventracor can still be the next Cochlear. If it fails now it will also be because and indicative of our tendency to kill off tall poppies, usually by attacking them when they are weakest through the press.
