GR,i think the first hurdle tpg has is how the relationship between teoh and as u suggest the ex vodafone ceo will work out.?
I haven't followed HTA/vodafone i still think they r losong money?
Ans then u have 3 co's ie tpg,hta and vodafone working and trying to agree on how best to go forward in fixed and mobile development.

Anyway imo only there is no point in listing all the opportunities tls has because nothing is showing up in the profit and penn has been cfo and ceo for a long long long time..

Back to my 6 bedroom home test by tls and csiro.I'm happy for a tech head to step in and correct me.
So csiro developed/invented wi fi,which means we place a modem in the premise and the premise is wirelessly connected.This is made possible by 700--mgz.ie 4g.Although 700mgz is globally regarded as transitional 5g it is still 4g.ie its not mmWave which is the real future.ie starting at 26ghz.ie auctioned 2021.

So this test is not in a lab as tls suggests,its in a suburban home environment.ie real world.
As posted when tls optus say they can provide 5g mobile services to a premise they r talking transitional 5g not mmWave.Because currently 5g mmWave will not penetrate walls.
As posted this real world test is all about mobile wi fi connection to a premise and thru a premises internal walls ie just like current 4g.
As far as i am concerned thois test,imo its all about speed,reliability and bandwidth ie the ultimate being mmWave.
So again,who better to invent ? a real mmWave 5g modem to first connect to outside mmWave frequencies and then distribute that mmWave frequency thru a premise by wi fi ?
imo the inventor of wi fi being csiro and the superior network owner with deep pockets tls.
I believe this test is all about 5g mmWave obstacle/wall penetration when tls gets its 26ghz,not about nbn.imo only.
This makes sense imo with the potential for tls to first maybe own the technology globally but have the technology in australia.
If that happens the accc will have to enforce a code where telcos must start to separate the definition 5g,ie transitional 5g using 4g frequencies and then real mmWave 5g.
This would b real 'tech' development,i hope tls and csiro succeed but i also hope this time tls becomes a partner in the ownership of such technology with csiro ,unlike the cochlear implant.
