I was genuinely happy to see them but felt a very different atmosphere . After some time I asked how their family in China were holding up . My friends then became very defensive and I detected an air of arrogance and superiority that I had never noticed before .
I have experienced rolls changing before when the captured become the captors . Humans act very different when they think they have the upper hand . Wow we live in interesting times .
