    Patient,

    Thanks for clarifying it.

I missed or more likely forgot about the 'which with other private placements of up to 15% of the current issued shares' bit. There is plenty of PLT-related info to sift through at the moment (from drought to flood!).

However, I think the percentage regarding the 'Unisplendour dilution' is slightly out, as there are already more shares out there.

I got my info from the 'Investor Fact Sheet' on the PLT Website, as per the following link:

    http://polartechnics.com.au/IRM/Content/investor_investorfactsheet.htm

The "Shares on Issue" section there says that "As at 23 April 2008 the total number of shares on issue is 239,772,424".

That would change it to 7.25% or so, but as you point out they may well add private placements to that.

Then again, if the SP continues to increase, there would be more convertible notes options converted, which could add over $3M to their cash reserves, so all I can say is 'go the SP'!

My sympathy is extended to you and all other long-suffering PLT holders. Robert Hunter reminded us at the AGM that he is one of them as well, as am I although not quite 10 years (more like 6).

Regarding "Who can forget the fabulous fun of the Board Civil War and attempted T/O", unfortunately Google doesn't seem to be able to. It always comes up within the first 5 entries or so of almost any kind of search you can think of doing about PLT, although it was a few years ago now.

It's good to hear that you're still a believer and continue hold the faith ... and you have an increadibly appropriate name ... presumably picked due to your holding in PLT.

Your previous post mentioned that nothing has changed in the last 2 weeks ... well, the SP certainly has (for the moment, anyway), and 5 days ago they managed to announce that they are finally selling! Not as much as they would like to, but its a start. Yes, we've heard the forecasts before, but the product actually shipping is a bit of a nice new trend (plus high demand, greater accuracy of the test etc.).

Hopefully onwards and upwards from here.

    Cheers.
