@yst; it took just two weeks for active COVID19 cases in Victoria to rocket from ~2000 to ~4000.
If infections even average just 400 per day that means cases will more than double within the next two weeks to ~9,000 active cases - along with deaths, pressure on hospitals etc.
I sure hope the penny drops sometime soon with those irresponsible clowns who are ignoring the rules and that Andrews' decision to support casual workers has an impact. Otherwise, Melbourne's in for one hell of a near future and Australia can wave goodbye to any quick recovery.
