Lara, i do blame the govt. for not getting into co-operative discussions with australia`s largest telco to sort out what is needed to get this contract up and running.
it does no-body any good for the thing to be dragged out for years, waiting for a better broadband into homes.
it also does families no good to see their super funds go down with TLS share price.
if you can beleive david richards comments in smarthouse the opposition tenderers are a bunch of rabble that will cost australians billions of dollars.
telstra wont let their opposition use the copper cables they own, which run into each home anyway.
all this should have worked out premature to the tender during friendly discussions between conroy and telstra so this situation did not develop.
i dont own TLS shares but feel sorry for the families with super, and i am not impressed with conroys ability to handle the job he is in.
