    Dear Abby,
I have a moslem friend who does not seem to want to discuss anything with me any more.

We have in the past discussed a variety of things to do with the middle east and the war on terror in general.

He never seemed to be able to make any points that made much sense to me and I frequently explained carefully where I thought he was wrong.

He seems to suddenly be very upset that he was unable to get me to believe his line and seems to be ignoring me.

    What should I do?

    regards,
    Thurlow

    Dear Thurlow,
Dont worry, it seems to be normal for most these guys, who have at best a tenuous hold on logic and commonsense in any case, to suddenly throw their hands up in the air and resort to tactics that are best described as uncivillized.

Look at Arafat and this crazy intifada he launched for god knows what reason. It has turned out to be a major catastrophe for the Palestineans and is likely to get worse for them, if they continue with his terrorist policies.

My suggestion is for you to just proceed on as usual.

If your moslem friend doesnt want to listen to what you have to say anymore, it is not something to worry about. It seems to be normal these days.

    Regards
    Abby
