Platinum is still a precious metal, people have seemed to have forgotten this. Amazingly Gold is worth more than Platnium for the first time in many years, who's have thunk it huh? Had I have known that I would have waited to buy my missus her wedding ring even though we've been married for some time lol.

IMO where gold goes sliver and the other precious metals like platinum will follow regardless of the industrial uses of each.

Gold was once used for tooth fillings, computer circuits etc, however people will soon forget about the industrial uses of platinum based on the potential failure of GM and the sentiment that goes along with it. They will then go back valuing like any other precious metal in an inflationary environment when the US dollar is falling. I think that time is now Fix.

All IMHO of course. Zircon is also on the watch list. In short supply for a while it appears.
