Trust me I was raised in a household of four generational feminists...... a central theme of the feminist movement is misogyny and patriarchy. I was treated well as were the other males ... the fight seemed to be based on frustration at an unidentified, but manifestly present enemy
Although it has been used as a useful tool to rally support, I consider it is an unfair branding of the sexes; the males ubiquitously tarnished and the females ubiquitously defined as a misandrist mob motivated by a phantom misogyny. Apart from obvious anonymous bravado and baiting on net forums and newsgroups, I could honestly say I have only met less than a handful of women hating men. I have met quite a few manhaters, but they appear to have a stubborn behaviour that isn't worth the effort of engaging with.
