I have been reading your posts

I agree with some of what you say, They are not the only nation to blame.

China is not usually a global military aggressor, there tactics are more economic & political
They want to control others without firing a shot

The Australian government has played directly into there hands for the last 20 years, for that we can only blame ourselves

However, you have shown where your heart lies with the below comment - you really do sound like a bully straight out of the CCP as they often degrade Australia due to our historic relationship with the USA.

"The Chinese retaliated because Australia has sacrificed its independence to become America's attack dog. China is imploring Australia to change course, it's not their fault if Australia doesn't listen". .

The USA share our way of life as do the people of Hong Kong who have been living in a democracy for over 100 years.

CCP have shown they would destroy this way of life if there influence continues to spread in democratic societies.

I detest the thought of war in my life time, for the very first time I see it as a real possibility

I will say this though - it's scary how many westerners under estimate the might of the CCP, they are smart and there military is large

Australia needs to navigate carefully and try salvage a working relationship.
