therefore co2 is 44

ie...how many tons of just co2 are produced from an ideal burn of 1 ton of coal.......

roughly 2.85 to 1

so disregarding stoichiometry and basic molar ratios.

1 tonne of dry coal will produce 2.85 tonnes of co2

calorific value of brown to black is about 3/4

the greater the oxygen level in coal the lower the calorific value

this is as rough as bags but you should get the drift..
