According to the RBA, a basket of goods and services purchased in 1996 for $3200 would have cost $5523 in 2019. It doesn't give a 2020 figure but CPI at present is about 1.8 per cent per annum, so not a lot of change from 2019.
So you are about seven times ahead of CPI (although remember the latter is not necessaarily a good picture for every individual good or service - some will have risen far more over time and others far less than the 'basket' median).
Congratulations, and also very well done with TPG. Savvy people like you are the backbone of Oz. I can think of some groups that are the antithesis.
I bought TUA a few days ago so like you some patience will be required. I doubt this is the sort of holding that will see instant profits because the software and staffing costs, plus rentals of space, must initially be significant. Good volume at a small profit per consumer may be the key, but Mr Teoh knows that far better than me.
