    There are a lot of variables regarding the preference to casual work, it certainly suits some and on the flip side not others.

    I've worked as a casual consultant in M & A integration and earning $1000 per day for a 12 month job so it worked fine for me.

    It can be very beneficial and profitable depending on the industry, the people working with me were young (early to mid 30's), the single ones weren't planning on working for 3 months after this contract finished so it can be a good life balance.

    Casualisation doesn't always mean lower income and benefits.
