Given the choice. imo, most casuals would much rather have regular, predictable shifts. WorkChoices by stealth means there are very few full-time permanent jobs these days. Permanent night shift is highly desirable for many working mums. Thanks Mr Howard and Abbott. You've made life harder for many working families.

Also with the health care arrangment the nurses who are permanent part time can actually choose to enlist for casual shifts with relevant facilitators so it is a supplemntary income for them Full time nursing jobs are not that easy to achieve at the moment.
