Didnt we just spend two years watching as FAR tried to PE Conoco's sale to WPL, Cairn have their share tied up exactly the same way so I hope WPL are on good terms with Cairn.
Lukoil has revenue of around a 100 billion dollars, 107 000 staff and almost 90 billion in assets and is in 40 countries around the world, thats compared to WPL's around 3000 staff and around 4 billion in revenue, maybe Lukoil might be intetested in swallowing WPL at 20 bucks a share.
