I consider, when the vaccine happens, the current science is: we will not know how long it lasts. So I think testing, especially for antibodies, may be a long term thing. That is

1) you get the vaccine, say, June 2021, and are 'protected'
2) you need to get antibody tested every year to see if you still have the antibodies, to know if you need another vaccine

However, that may be not valid for covid, because

a) as you say, if the vaccine is ala polio, you get once and are protected forever
b) covid falls into the other body protection method - you dont HAVE antibodies, but after first vaccine or infection your body is geared up to produce the right antibodies as it needs

My guess is any testing methods (for virus or antibodies) will be very much in the market for at least 2 or 3 years.

I personally think this virus will mutate several times before this thing is over.

AT1’s real strength is the hardware and it’s ability to be used for a multitude of tests.

Also keep in mind the manufacturing capacity increase is for the device, meaning if COVID is miraculously cured the devices will be available for the next epidemic and the kits already fitted with covid tests won’t be our problem as the sale is done.
