did you check the starting limit? It’s not straight up you can borrow $1k or $2k limit. Try borrowing from your friend less than $400 first and say you will pay it in 4 weeks. Once you’ve paid it, try asking a higher amount say $600 next time, chances are because you payed him on time last time, he will lend you that $600 without asking if you have a job anymore. Rinse and repeat, basically your credit check is your history of paying your friend on time so you don’t need another one as you have established that trust or recent payment history already.
