Germaine Greer at her nasty best. Very little of what she says is balanced and well thought out. Her comments are always inspired by bitterness and envy. She is a glass half empty person. She thinks by being hyper-critical that she is being oh so intellectual. Remember her comments about Steve Irwin after he was killed. Greer has become a sad heartless old bag.
I went and saw "Australia" and found it very entertaining, which is why I go to the cinema. The cinematography is fantastic. I think Lurhmann gives sufficient weighting to the plight of aborigines. Yes, I could nitpick it, but I don't want to because, in toto, I really enjoyed it. I note on the IMDb site it gets a score of 7.4/10 (which is pretty decent) based on over 5000 votes.
