Great thread Matt. To actually answer your original question. I've recently spoken to one vendor during COVID, regarding Tyro and their experiences with it. He indicated that there "weren't too many complaints and they were pretty happy with it." The only additional comment was regarding the "relatively short battery life". However, he said Tyro sent out a free extra pack for them to use with it. It still sounds like their hardware is significantly more reliable compared to the big 4 banks. I think the lower fees, expanding software integration, quicker processing times and better customer service is where they'll win out in the long run.
