Sounds exactly like many of my observations over several years.
About the only thing I disagree with is that ‘you get what you pay for’
unfortunately that’s not a guarantee because I saw some high priced services that were very poor quality and sometimes you would see the reverse as well.
Most people have zero idea of what it’s like out there and run about saying that Oz is great and the best country in the world.
It always made me bristle because of what I saw and wrote about for years- people just refuse to believe it.
To be honest - I think they still refuse to believe it’s the reality.
Sorry you had to see it. It was just too big for me. I couldn’t see how we could change it
