Its not about hate and I don't intend that you should take it that way.

I took offense at you effectively saying that AD had lied or MAK could be misleading ppl. MAK figures have looked pretty reasonable for some time, its only the hype of forums like HC that have blown expectations out to ridiculous levels - hence the sp action today.

The latest MAK figures, based on more results are pretty good and the available ballpark costings are no different to what have already been discussed on HC and elsewhere, so why is it necessary to believe that the numbers are misleading? Why is it necessary to denigrate management (admittedly, an HC poster and Aussie pastime!), play down coy achievements or dismiss numbers as overly optimistic or worse, just plain fraudulent?

For example, CAPEX, OPEX, etc., will change according to resource and other results that are available. Is it dishonest to change the figures as more results become available or other costs change? Until all facts and figures have been received, crunched and final plans made, surely all numbers are in a state of flux? What MAK has announced today is a guide, an indicator, provided in good faith. That's all. Isn't it being unreasonable to say the "true costs" are being hidden, if the goal posts, in fact, keep getting moved?
