Cheap oil shows how solid CVN is. The Nymex rolls over to Feb on monday and up a couple of bucks, but I would not have believed we would see sub US$40 from early this year.
My mind set seems to have become a counterfactual hypothesis, but the financial mess caused the demand reduction and not the required change in our habits to cover depletion. Just a small imbalance either way is a sign we will go up again when supply falls.
Maybe now is the time to dust off the SUV, but reality will hit home soon enough.
Buy more CVN if you are lucky to have cash.
