A mate recently told me to avoid companies that continually lodge their quarterlies at the last minute. It was his opinion that a company that's comfortable with its direction and business model will lodge its quarterlies when the majority do even if it's negative. He explained his reasoning behind continual last minute lodging but I better not disclose that here. It is only his opinion after all....
