Agreed. In my humble opinion Jeffrey Archer is the master of story-tellers. The Kane and Abel series, A Matter of Honor, A Prisoner of Birth, First Among Equals, The 11th Commandment ... all masterful! In fact, your post convinced me to start re-reading some of them!
