Here's something that I spied on French24 this morning - it might not suit everyone, but, it does tell a story about something fundamentally French - and really - a bloody delight every day -
it's the story of the baguette - and, there's stuff that's of interest to me at least - like german beers - laws have been made to make rules for calling a baguette traditional --------- and, I've had several amazing 'traditional' baguettes - it's one of my favorites - I've got a couple of favorites -
there's cookie arty wanky stuff in there about the baguette singing to you - but, it's actually true ----------- when you walk home carrying a baguette in your hand - you actually learn a lot about it in the short trip home - just by the way it carries - that's not including smell or bite or taste - just carrying it
