you have misunderstood what I wrote. I said "it would be a shame" this does not mean the same thing as "I would be ashamed". I would not be ashamed if I lost all of my JRV shares. Losing money is just part of life as you said. What I actually meant when I said "it would be a shame" is that it would be a pity for JRV to go out of business and for the nickel mine not to come to fruition.
